Description
The NPORS N010 Telescopic Handler course is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently operate telescopic handlers, also known as telehandlers. These versatile machines are widely used across various industries, including construction, agriculture, and warehousing, for lifting and moving materials in diverse environments. The course covers a comprehensive range of topics, including theoretical instruction on health and safety regulations, operator responsibilities, and the safe operation of telescopic handlers. Participants learn about the various components and controls of telescopic handlers, as well as the importance of pre-use inspections and maintenance procedures to ensure machine reliability and safety. Practical training forms a significant part of the course, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience operating telescopic handlers under the guidance of qualified instructors. They learn essential maneuvers such as lifting, lowering, extending, and slewing the telescopic boom, as well as operating attachments like forks, buckets, or platforms. By the end of the course, participants are assessed for their competence in operating telescopic handlers safely and effectively, and upon successful completion, they receive NPORS certification, widely recognized within the industry as evidence of their skills and qualifications.
