Course overview
Working at Height is divided into four interactive modules:
Module 1 – Learners explore common risk factors and the main causes of falls from height.
Module 2 – Learners examine the legal duties on employers and employees, and discover how risk assessments are carried out to help prevent falls from height.
Module 3 – Learners are introduced to a range of access methods and equipment, then follow the story of a maintenance worker carrying out a typical task and make decisions regarding the best and safest way to carry out the work.
Module 4 – Learners focus on the need for strategic planning of work at height activities and review a number of case studies to appreciate the benefits of good management control.
Learners must pass a short multiple-choice assessment to complete the course.
